Before founding Macias Law, Marie built a strong foundation at respected Florida firms, where she litigated a wide range of civil matters, including first-party property claims and insurance defense cases. She has experience drafting and arguing motions, taking depositions, and managing discovery, gaining a deep understanding of litigation strategy from start to finish.

Marie’s passion for advocacy began during her time at the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she served as Vice President of the Latino Law Student Association and worked with nonprofit organizations and small businesses through the Community and Economic Development Legal Clinic. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Political Science from the University of Miami.

Rooted in her Cuban American heritage and Miami upbringing, Marie is deeply community focused and active in organizations that champion diversity and professional growth, including the Cuban American Bar Association (CABA) and the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP).
